Overview

VentyWise is an offline log for your home’s heating, cooling and air systems. This policy explains what the app does with your information: it keeps it on your device and nowhere else.

Data we collect

None. VentyWise has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not collect, receive or sell any personal data.

Data stored on your device

The homes, systems, filter sizes and change dates, spare filters, service visits and costs, seasonal checklists, indoor readings and settings you enter are saved only in the app’s storage on your iPhone. They are removed when you erase all data in Settings or delete the app.

Network

VentyWise does not connect to the internet. It works fully offline.

Notifications

If you turn on reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your iPhone. They are created on the device and are never sent through a server.

Exporting

When you export a CSV file, the iOS share sheet opens and you choose where the file goes. Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it.

Children

VentyWise is suitable for everyone and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be shown in the app and on this page with a new date.
